in sudden burst of inspiration. The current Jam is Jem and the Holograms ([link]). I went for Jem/Jerrica doing her thing on stage.

I know there are all sorts of anatomy issues, but over all, I'm really happy with this one.

Played with a bunch of new color techniques.

The hair is a serious throwback to the old 90's fashion doll comics. I was always obsessed with the ridiculousness and physically impossible way they used to draw them in the books and coloring pages I used to have.

Yes, I had the dolls and remember being crazy about the super glam rock fashion. I blame Jem for my love of neon colors and bad party dresses. I actually still own a pair of those purple starburst earrings... XD

Thanks for the link to the primer. Looks like a very useful resource. The only thing more insane than the Jem and the Holograms show is their fans, apparently.

Thanks! I really love the coloring. Drawing and inking kind of stress me out, but coloring is relaxing.
