Done up for A Kirby Tribute on 
I was playing with this one for a while. I wanted to do something that represented the Kirby games to me.
The most epic moment in any Kirby game had to be the first appearance of Meta-Knight when you enter a large empty ballroom with a sword planted in the center of the floor. The prompt begins the fight sequence, and changes the game completely.
I built the background out of layers of scrapbook paper, then drew in the foreground figures and effects digitally.
When you grab the sword Kirby, get ready to rumble.
