It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Okay, so I'm finishing the edits on my first novel in my "Guilt" series before sending it to the printer. I'm playing around with the ending so you want to read on into the next book, but still feels like a solid ending.

I decide to look through some of my old novel notes, and what do I find?
     A pile of character sketches. All very sucky.

  Several clothing designs. Not too bad.

     A booklet on translating the language I made up to use. It's actually a functional language I have to decode in order to have some of the characters speak to each other. I feel like a geek, but it works.

     A to do list about 3 pages long with nothing on it completed. (Still and it's about a year old)

AND *Drumroll Please*
100 pages of writing I forgot to type into the end when I transfered my handwritten writing into my typed book. 0.0 How the Heck did I miss that?These are good too...

Hehe, anybody else ever do something big and forget you already did it before?
