Getting ready for this year's dance recital. I just got a box in the mail with 4 new pairs of tights and a leotard to go under my costume, and I can't believe how incredibly happy it made me. I'm in 8 numbers this year including 2 duets and a solo. I'm doing a hiphop/lyrical mixed duet that is going to be sweet if we remember the choreography.
I still need to finish 2 costumes for the show, but otherwise, I can't wait for this weekend.

Does it really matter? I forgot the choreography of my entire tap solo last year, just went blank once I got on stage. I just made it up and came up with a whole nother dance, no one knew the difference. It's just about having fun.
